| General description: | Adapter to use 5ml tubes in BeadBug 6 microtube homogeniser. Supplied as a set of 2.The adaptor has an inner ID of 16.75mm and inner height of 50.75mm. There is a hole in the bottom that is 5.8mm. The tube sits in the adapter with the very tip extended through the opening in the bottom. The tube also extends through the top of the adaptor. The BeadBug 6 clamp that holds the adapter in place is designed for tubes 64mm tall. We recommend the use of Benchmark Scientific 5ml tubes or the 5ml tubes from Eppendorf. |
