Application: It was used as an α1-adrenergic receptors antagonist, in a study performed to understand the influence of dopamine on uterine motility of rats in vitro.
General description: Prazosin hydrochloride is an alpha-adrenergic blocking agent, employed as an antihypertensive drug for the treatment of high blood pressure. It lowers the blood pressure by binding to the alpha receptors thereby relaxing the blood vessels.
