General description: | TSKgel GMHXL-L mixed-bed columns are packed with a mixture of rigid, polymer beads, varying in average pore size, for the analysis of organic-soluble industrial polymers. Mixed bed or linear columns are used when a broad range of polymer molecular weights is expected in the sample. This column gives high resolution of polymers with a molecular weight up to about 100,000 Da, although the exlusion limit is higher. The shipping sovent THF can be replaced by benzene, chloroform, toluene and xylene, but not with dichloromethane and dichloroethane. As the number of solvents that can be exchanged directly with the shipping solvent is limited, use TSKgel Hhr-type columns when a broader range of organic solvents is needed. |
