Application: Celite® analytical aid II (CAFA II) find its use as a high-purity filter-aid in pharmaceutical applications. It may be used to filter reaction mixtures in the interesterification of fat blends to study their physical properties.
General description: CAFA II, a high-purity Celite® analytical filter aid, is a replacement for the original CAFA material. It is of higher purity and consistency as compared to the original CAFA. But, its filtration and physical characteristics are nearly indistinguishable from CAFA. It has a filtration efficiency in the range of 0.5-1.0 microns.
