| Application: | The composition of AOCS No. 1 (RM-1) is similar to the fatty acid distribution of the following oils: corn, cottonseed, kapok, poppyseed, rice, safflower, sesame, soybean, sunflower, and walnut oils. This mix may be used as a reference standard to aid in the identification and quantition of these oils. |
| General description: | Our quantitative animal and vegetable reference mixes conform to the requirements of the American Oil Chemists′ Society (AOCS) method Ce 1-62. The composition of each mix is similar to the fatty acid distribution of certain oils listed under each product.
